ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 mop-up round seat allotment result out: download letter by October 24

Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programmes in Agriculture and Allied Sciences for the 2026-27 academic session can now check their allotment status on the official counselling portal, icarcounseling.com, from 11 AM onwards.

This mop-up round is the final stage of the counselling process for postgraduate admissions, excluding the veterinary stream and PhD programmes. It follows four regular rounds of seat allotment that commenced on October 5, 2026, and is crucial for candidates who have not yet secured a seat.

MOP-UP Round Allotment and Next Steps

Candidates who have been successfully allotted a seat in the mop-up round are required to proceed with a series of admission formalities. These include document verification, payment of the seat acceptance fee, and the generation of a Provisional Admission Letter. The seat allotment mechanism considers the candidate’s merit rank, stated preferences, overall eligibility, and seat availability.

The non-refundable counselling registration fee for the process was ₹500. The seat acceptance fee, payable by candidates whose documents have been verified at the allotted university, is Rs 10,000.

The deadline for paying the seat acceptance fee for the mop-up round is October 24, 2026, at 4 PM. Following this, university reporting for the mop-up round is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at 8 PM. Candidates were advised to finalize and lock their choices by October 21, 2026, 11:50 PM, for their preferences to be considered.

The counselling process supports admissions to 30% of seats in participating Agricultural Universities and 100% of seats at ICAR-DUs, RLBCAU Jhansi, and Dr RPCAU Pusa. The choice filling window for the mop-up round was open until October 21, 2026, 11:50 PM.
