Karnataka M.Sc Nursing 2026: Apply online in September

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to commence the online application process for M.Sc Nursing admissions in Karnataka for the 2026 academic year in September 2026. The admission process, administered by KEA authorities, will be conducted through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. This admission cycle aims to fill M.Sc Nursing courses across the state, with students being selected based on their NEET PG 2026 examination scores.

The Karnataka government’s M.Sc Nursing admission for 2026 will offer 25 seats within the state. Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

To be eligible for M.Sc Nursing admissions in Karnataka for 2026, applicants must be Indian citizens and not exceed 45 years of age. Candidates are required to have passed B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Post Basic Nursing. General category students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their graduation, while reserved category students need to have obtained at least 50% marks.

The application process will involve several steps. Students must first register online on the KEA authorities’ official website. After that, they will need to fill in all mandatory parameters in the application form and upload the required documents in the specified size, dimensions, and formats. The final step involves paying the registration fees based on their respective categories, cross-checking all details, and submitting the application.

Application Fees and Required Documents

The application fee for M.Sc Nursing 2026 varies by category. General, Other Backward Classes (OC), and Backward Classes (BC) candidates are required to pay INR 5,000. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, the application fee is INR 4,000. These fees must be paid using debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Applicants must prepare a set of documents for the application. These include Class 10th and 12th mark sheets, B.Sc Nursing/Post B.Sc Nursing Certificate, an Attempt Certificate, a Compulsory Internship Certificate, a Domicile Certificate, and a valid Income & Category Certificate.

Examination Pattern

The M.Sc Nursing entrance exam will consist of 100 objective-type questions. The examination will be conducted in offline mode, with a duration of 90 minutes. The language of the question paper will be English. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded +1 mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.

St. John’s College of Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka State Nursing Council, and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS) and the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB).
