KNRUHS BDS mop-up phase CQ allotments for 2026-27 released today

Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), based in Warangal, Telangana, released the BDS Mop-Up Phase Competent Authority Quota (CQ) allotments for the 2026-27 academic year today, October 16, 2026. This announcement pertains to admissions for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes.

COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA ALLOTMENTS AND Counselling

The release of the BDS Mop-Up Phase CQ allotments marks a significant step in the admission process for the 2026-27 academic year. This follows previous phases of counselling conducted by KNRUHS, which was established by the Government of Telangana in 2014 and is named in honour of Shri Kaloji Narayana Rao, a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan in 1992.

Ahead of today’s BDS allotments, KNRUHS had also released the college-wise allotment list for the Mop Up Phase of counselling for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the 2026-27 academic year on October 15, 2026. On the same day, the university published a list of candidates who had not reported or had discontinued after the second phase of counselling for BDS admissions under Competent Authority Quota. Also, vacancies for the Mop-Up Phase of counselling for BDS admissions under Competent Authority Quota were released, along with a notification for candidates to exercise their web options for this phase.

MANAGEMENT QUOTA ADMISSIONS Updates

Alongside the Competent Authority Quota announcements, KNRUHS provided several updates for MBBS and BDS admissions under the Management Quota on October 16, 2026. These updates are crucial for candidates seeking admission through this quota for the 2026-27 academic year.

The university released a corrigendum to the merit list for MBBS BDS admissions under Management Quota, indicating potential adjustments to the previously published list. Also, a list of not reported candidates and discontinued candidates from the second phase of counselling, along with provisions for free exit, was made public. Vacancies for the Mop Up Phase of counselling for Management Quota admissions were also announced, accompanied by a notification detailing the process for exercising web-options for this phase.
