During the current active window, candidates can modify select fields in their application forms. Permitted corrections include:

  • Date of Birth: Updates to day, month, or year of birth.

  • Gender: Correction of gender selection errors.

  • Category / EWS Status: Reclassification of category (e.g., General to EWS, OBC, SC, ST).

  • Person with Disabilities (PwD) Status: Updates regarding disability status.

  • Academic Details: Correction of MBBS marks, passing year, institute name, and internship completion details.

Details That Cannot Be Edited During NEET PG 2026 Edit Window

For security and identification reasons, NBEMS locks critical candidate profile information after initial registration. The following details cannot be changed under any circumstances:

  • Candidate’s Full Name

  • Nationality

  • Registered Email ID

  • Mobile Number

  • Aadhaar Card Details

  • Correspondence / Permanent Address

  • Choice of Examination State / City Preferences

How to Edit NEET PG 2026 Application Form Online

Candidates can edit their submitted NEET PG 2026 application form through the NBEMS website during the edit window from July 25 to July 28, 2026. Follow the steps below to make corrections:

  1. Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
  2. Click on the NEET PG 2026 exam link available on the homepage.
  3. Select the Applicant Login option.
  4. Enter your User ID and password to access the application dashboard.
  5. Click on the “Go to Application Form” option.
  6. Review the submitted application form displayed on the screen.
  7. Click on the relevant section where corrections are required and edit the eligible details.
  8. Verify all modified information carefully before submission.
  9. Click on “Save and Next” after completing corrections in each section.
  10. Click on “Save and Submit” to submit the updated application form.
  11. Download or save the final corrected application form for future reference.

Note: Candidates should complete all required corrections before the edit window closes on July 28, 2026. After this period, changes will not be accepted except through the separate selective edit window for specific image-related corrections, if applicable.

NEET PG 2026 Application Correction Fee (If Applicable)

  • General Corrections: Modifying standard text fields (such as academic marks or minor typo fixes) does not incur additional charges.

  • Category Upgrade Fees: If a candidate changes their reservation status (for instance, changing category from SC/ST/PwD to General/OBC), they are required to pay the differential application fee online before submitting the corrected form.

  • Non-Refundable Adjustments: If a candidate modifies their category to one with a lower fee, the excess fee previously paid will not be refunded.

  • MBBS Passing Information: Ensure internship completion dates and total aggregate marks align with official university documents.

  • Category Certificate Documents: Verify that category certificates (EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST) are issued by competent authorities and remain valid.

  • Medical Registration Details: Cross-check State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) registration numbers.

  • Spelling & Formatting: Verify spelling accuracy in all non-locked background fields.

What Happens After NEET PG 2026 Edit Window Closes?

Once the general edit window closes on July 28, 2026, the data submitted will be locked. Following this, NBEMS will initiate the subsequent steps:

  1. Selective Image Correction Window (July 31 – August 10, 2026): Candidates whose uploaded photographs, signatures, or thumb impressions do not comply with prescribed guidelines will be given a final dedicated window to re-upload deficient images.

  2. City Intimation Slip (August 11, 2026): NBEMS will release advance test city allotment slips to inform candidates of their assigned exam location.

  3. Admit Card Issuance (August 27, 2026): Hall tickets will be made available for download on the official portal.
