E-Scrutiny vs Physical Scrutiny Modes

Crucial Rule: Verification is mandatory. Unverified profiles will be omitted from the seat allotment list, even if the application form was successfully submitted.

  1. E-Scrutiny Mode:

    • The application form and uploaded scans are reviewed digitally by designated E-Scrutiny Centers.

    • Candidates should log into their dashboard at cetcell.mahacet.org to check for any flagged discrepancies.

    • If errors or blurry documents are flagged, candidates must upload corrected documents immediately before 5:00 PM.

  2. Physical Scrutiny Mode:

    • Candidates who selected this mode must report to their booked Facilitation Center (FC) in person.

    • Originals and photocopies of all submitted documents must be presented to the verification officer.

    • An acknowledgment receipt will be issued once the status changes to “Verified” on the official portal.

Essential Documents Required

Ensure all the following certificates match the details entered in your application form:

  • Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheets

  • MAH BBA CET 2026 / CUET UG / MHT-CET Scorecard

  2. Submit Grievances (July 24–26): If there are any discrepancies in your merit status or application details, raise a formal objection online through your portal login within the given window.

  3. Final Merit List & Option Filling (July 28 onwards): The Final Merit List will dictate the rank positions for CAP Round 1 seat allocation. Follow up by submitting your choice preference forms (Option Forms) listing your desired colleges in order of preference.
