The Department of Higher Education (DHE) and the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, have officially extended the deadline for the online web options entry for the AP POLYCET 2026 Final Phase Counselling. Candidates seeking diploma admissions across government and private polytechnic colleges in Andhra Pradesh now have until July 23, 2026, to submit and lock their college and branch preferences online.

This extension brings major relief to thousands of students looking to secure leftover seats or upgrade their choices after Phase 1 allotment.

Key Highlights of the Counselling Extension

The final phase counselling kicked off on July 16, 2026. While web option entries were originally scheduled to wrap up earlier, authorities extended the option window to July 23, 2026 to allow students adequate time to finalize their choices.

  • Login Credentials Required: AP POLYCET Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth.

  • Participation Requirement: Candidates must submit fresh web options in this phase. Preferences selected during Phase 1 will not be carried over.

Important Note: If you previously paid the counselling processing fee (₹700 for OC/BC and ₹250 for SC/ST) during Phase 1, you do not need to pay it again for the final phase.

  • Civil Engineering: ~3,500 to 4,200 seats

  • Mechanical Engineering: ~2,800 to 3,400 seats

  • Computer Science Engineering (CSE): ~2,000 to 2,800 seats

  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE): ~2,000 to 2,500 seats

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): ~1,500 to 2,000 seats

Fee Structure

  • Government Polytechnic Colleges: ₹4,700 per year

  • Private Polytechnic Colleges: ~₹25,000 per year

Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth to log into the candidate portal.

4.Save and Lock Choices:Step 4.
