Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) announced the release of the Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2026 Phase 2 MQ seat allotment for MBBS on October 6, 2026. This allocation is a crucial step for candidates seeking admission to medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the current academic year.

The official event date for this seat allotment is October 7, 2026, marking a significant development in the ongoing counselling process for MBBS admissions in the state.

Previous Counselling Schedules and Allotments

Earlier in 2026, the Round 2 seat allotment results were released on August 7, 2026. Following this, candidates were given a deadline of August 8, 2026, to confirm their acceptance of the allotted seats. This timeline underscores the structured approach to seat distribution for medical programs.

For the Andhra Pradesh NEET Counselling 2025, a detailed schedule was followed, including specific dates for web option entry, choice filling, and the release of phase 1 allotment results. The overall counselling process for 2025 concluded by early September of that year.

Other Academic Updates in Andhra Pradesh

In related updates, the AP OAMDC 2026 Seat Allotment Phase 1 Result was updated on September 7, 2026. This indicates parallel counselling activities for other undergraduate programs within the state, managed by different authorities.

While not directly related to the NEET UG MBBS seat allotment, Sai University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, offers a three-year regular BSc in Psychology program. Eligibility for this program requires candidates to have passed 10+2 education in the science stream from recognized boards such as CBSE, ICSE, or any state board, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% including core subjects of physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
