Admission and Fee Structures at Dehradun Universities

At DIT University, admission for Non-GATE / Non-SET / Non-SLET / Non-GPAT candidates is based on merit-based counseling on DUET, followed by a Personal Interview. For those with GATE / SET / GPAT / SLET qualifications, admission is directly based on a Personal Interview. The first installment for a Ph.D (per semester/installment) at DIT University is ₹52,650.

SGRR University’s fee structure is subject to revision, with the first installment due at the time of admission. Subsequent installments have specific payment deadlines: the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th installments are due by 15th January each academic year, while the 3rd, 5th, and 7th installments are due by 15th July each academic year.

UPES offers a Ph.D fee of ₹1 Lakh per semester. The university provides a 75% waiver on the program semester fee for full-time scholars, and selected full-time scholars may also receive a monthly fellowship (stipend) of up to ₹30,000.

Ph.D Program Duration and Upcoming Pharmacy Exams

A full-time Ph.D program typically has a minimum duration of three years and a maximum of six years, including coursework. For part-time Ph.D programs, the minimum duration is four years, with a maximum of eight years, also including coursework. For part-time Ph.D candidates, a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer is mandatory along with meeting the basic eligibility criteria.

Several pharmacy-related examinations are scheduled in the near future. The RUHS Pharmacy Admission Test Counselling Date is set for 23 September 2026. The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Pharma Aptitude Test (UPESPAT) Exam Date is also today, 22 September 2026. The Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT) Exam Date was 22 May 2026.
