Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round must complete their admission formalities, including reporting to their respective colleges with original documents and paying the required fees, by October 1, 2026. The counselling process covers 85% of the reserved state seats in Madhya Pradesh colleges, with admissions based on NEET UG 2026 scores.

The Round 1 seat allotment result is available in PDF format on the official portal, ayush.mponline.gov.in. No login details are required to download and check the allotment PDF. The document contains essential information such as the NEET UG Roll Number, NEET UG Rank, Common Rank, NEET UG AI Score, Candidate Name, Allotted Course, Allotted Institute, and Eligible Category.

Following the release of the allotment, candidates must report to their assigned colleges between September 29 and October 1, 2026. This step requires candidates to present all original documents for verification and to complete the fee payment process within the stipulated deadline. The counselling authority, the Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, has specified that candidates must be medically fit and meet the minimum age limit of 17 years as on December 31, 2026, along with educational qualifications of passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, and qualifying NEET-UG 2026.

The top NEET score in Round 1 was 527, corresponding to a NEET rank of 58170, which secured a seat at Pt. Khushilal Sharma Govt. Autonomous Ayurved College and Institute, Bhopal. Conversely, the last common rank recorded in the data was 6431, with a NEET score of 177 and a NEET rank of 1193912, for a seat at RKDF Homoeopathic Medical College, Bhopal. The Round 1 allotments covered a broad spectrum of NEET scores, ranging from 527 down to 177.

Government Ayurved colleges generally closed at lower ranks, indicating higher demand. Pt. Khushilal Sharma Govt. Autonomous Ayurved College, Bhopal, saw its unreserved category seats filled between common ranks 1 and 23, with a closing NEET score of 505. For BHMS courses, Govt. Autonomous Homoeopathy Medical College, Bhopal, was a preferred choice, with its unreserved category opening at common rank 95 (NEET score 477) and closing at common rank 380. Hakim Syed Ziaul Hasan Govt. Autonomous Unani College, Bhopal, had its unreserved category for BUMS open at common rank 351 with a NEET score of 447. Private colleges accounted for the majority of seats at the lower end of the score range.

Upcoming Counselling Schedule and Next Steps

For candidates who did not secure a seat in Round 1 or wish to explore other options, the Directorate of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, has outlined the schedule for the subsequent round. Registration and payment for the next round are currently underway, from September 27 to September 30, 2026. The merit list for this upcoming round is scheduled for release on October 6, 2026.

Following the merit list, choice filling and locking for the next round will take place from October 7 to October 9, 2026.
