TANCET 2027: Register in Feb, download hall ticket in March, get results in April

Anna University has announced the schedule for the TANCET 2027 login window, which will support various online examination events. This includes registration, hall ticket download, access to answer keys, checking results, and scorecard download for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2027.

The login portal, accessible at tancet.annauniv.edu, is a crucial facility for candidates aspiring for MBA and MCA programs in over 200 colleges across Tamil Nadu. Approximately 38,000 candidates appeared for these entrance examinations in 2026, with the TANCET score remaining valid for admission into the 2026-27 academic session.

TANCET 2027 Login Schedule and Access

The TANCET 2027 login for registration is scheduled to open in February 2027. Following this, candidates will be able to download their hall tickets and access answer keys in March 2027. The results and scorecard download will be available through the login portal in April 2027, according to Anna University.

To use the TANCET login portal, candidates are required to use the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. A screen resolution of 600 px x 800 px and a high-speed internet connection are also specified for optimal functionality. Candidates must complete a one-time registration process to create their login credentials, which consist of an email ID and password.

Registration and Application Process

The one-time registration process requires candidates to provide details such as their email ID, mobile number, date of birth, SSLC registration number, community, nativity, and HSC/Diploma registration number. These credentials will then be used for all subsequent online activities related to TANCET 2027.

The steps to complete the TANCET application form online include filling in personal details, academic information, selecting test city preferences, uploading a photograph and signature, uploading a category certificate (if applicable), reviewing all entered details, and finally paying the online application fee. Anna University also provides a facility for candidates to recover a forgotten password.

Hall Ticket and Result Download Procedures

Candidates can download their hall ticket using their TANCET login credentials. The last date to download the TANCET admit card is the exam day. To download the hall ticket, candidates must visit tancet.annauniv.edu, click on the designated ‘Click Here’ button for ‘TANCET hall ticket download’, enter their login credentials, click ‘Submit’, and then download and print the hall ticket.

Similarly, the TANCET login portal will be used for checking results and downloading scorecards once they are released in April 2027. For the 2026 examination cycle, the TANCET Hall Ticket was released on April 27, 2026, the exam was held on May 9, 2026, and the results were declared on May 22, 2026, on tancet.annauniv.edu.in. The TANCET 2026 scorecard was also available for download on May 23, 2026.

In 2026, Anna University conducted the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET), with approximately 38,000 candidates appearing for the MBA and MCA entrance examinations.
