MHT CET 2026 login activated for choice filling and seat allotment

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has activated the MHT CET 2026 login on its official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. This secure individual portal allows candidates to access important information related to the MHT CET 2026 examination, application process, admit card, answer key, result download, and counselling procedures.

The login window, accessible using a registered email ID and password, was previously used for choice filling during MHT CET CAP counselling 2026 round 1, which took place from July 28 to July 30, 2026. Candidates can also view their seat allotment status through this portal after the choice filling process.

MHT CET 2026 Login Creation and Access

Individual MHT CET logins are created upon the completion of the registration process. To establish an MHT CET 2026 login, candidates must first register at the CET Cell Portal. This involves visiting cetcell.mahacet.org, clicking on the CET portal link for the 2026-27 academic year, and then selecting the ‘register’ link under ‘New User’.

During registration, candidates are required to enter details such as their name, email ID, mobile number, and date of birth. A password must also be created, adhering to specific criteria: it should be 8-16 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one special character, and one number. After submitting these details, a verification link is sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. Verification through this email link completes the registration process, allowing candidates to log in to the CET portal using their registered email ID and the password they created.

Application Process and Post-Login Activities

Once logged in, the state CET cell allows registered candidates to apply for their chosen CET under the MHT CET login. Some details in the application form will be prefilled from the registration stage. To complete the application, candidates must fill in all required details, select their preferred exam centers, and pay the applicable fees.

The login portal and its details are required at various stages of the MHT CET 2026 examination and counselling. Candidates can view their seat allotment status from the MHT CET login after the choice filling process has concluded. For any queries regarding the admission process, candidates are advised to visit their nearest Student Assistance Centre established by the State CET Cell.

Recent Updates from Maharashtra State CET Cell for A.Y. 2026-27

The admission process for First Year Under Graduate Technical Courses in Engineering and Technology (4 Years) & Master of Engineering and Technology (Integrated 5 Years) for the Academic Year 2026-27 has been closed, according to the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. Several other notices and updates have been issued by the State CET Cell regarding various courses and admission processes for the current academic year.

These include a revised final admission date for B.Arch and M.Arch professional courses on September 12, 2026, and an important notice regarding fees for Engineering Institutes issued on September 9, 2026. An important notice concerning the cut-off date for all courses under Technical Education for A.Y. 2026-27 was released on September 7, 2026. Extensions were also granted for submitting Cast Validity Certificates for candidates admitted under the centralized admission process for A.Y. 2026-27 in Technical Education courses and Higher Education courses on September 4, 2026. The CAP Schedule for LLB 3 Yrs Course and LLB 5 Yrs Integrated Course Academic Year 2026-27 was released on August 14, 2026, along with a public notice regarding Lock-In / Final Submission of the Option Form for Law 5 Years and Law 3 Years CAP Process A.Y. 2026–27 on the same date.
