The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), has announced the extension of the TS PGECET 2026 counselling registration and certificate uploading deadline. Originally set for July 9, 2026, the new deadline is now July 16, 2026 (Thursday). Candidates seeking admission to M.E., M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Pharm, and Graduate level Pharm. D (P.B.) courses for the academic year 2026-2027 can now complete their registration and upload documents on the official website, pgecet.tgche.ac.in.

This update has also pushed the dates of further stages ahead. For instance, verified list of candidates (changes from 12th Juy to 18th July), web option entry (changed from 13th july to 19th July) and so on. Students must pay a non-refunable registration fee of Rs. 1,200 (Gen/OBC) and Rs. 600 (other categories) during the TS PGECET counselling registration. TS PGECET 2026 Counselling: Revised Schedule

The extension of the registration deadline has impacted the subsequent dates in the counselling schedule. Candidates should note the revised timeline for various stages of the admission process for TS PGECET 2026.

TS PGECET 2026 Counselling: Application Fees

Candidates must pay the prescribed non-refundable counselling registration fee online to complete the TS PGECET 2026 counselling application process.

Note: The counselling fee is non-refundable and must be paid in favour of ‘The Secretary, TGCHE’ during the online registration process.

How to Register for TS PGECET 2026 Counselling?

Eligible candidates who have qualified TG PGECET – 2026 or possess valid GATE scores can register for the counselling process by following these steps:

1. Go to the official website, pgecet.tgche.ac.in.
2. Click on the “Online Registration” link for TS PGECET 2026 counselling.
3. Fill in the required details, including TG PGECET Hall Ticket number, rank, and date of birth.
4. Pay the prescribed counselling fee online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
5. Upload scanned copies of all necessary certificates for verification.
6. Review the application and submit it before the extended deadline of July 16, 2026.

The TS PGECET 2026 counselling process facilitates admissions into various postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2026-2027 across Telangana.

Following the extended registration and certificate uploading period, the next crucial step for TS PGECET 2026 counselling is the display of the verified list of eligible registered candidates on July 12, 2026.

Candidates will then proceed to the web option entry phase from July 19 to July 21, 2026, where they can select their preferred colleges and courses. An edit option will be available on July 22, 2026, allowing candidates to modify their choices.

The provisional seat allotment list for Round I will be released on July 26, 2026. Selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges between July 27 and July 30, 2026, to confirm their admission and complete the necessary formalities.
