AP PGCET 2026 second seat allotment on October 17: report to colleges by October 24

The AP PGCET 2026 second seat allotment list will be published by Sri Venkateswara University on October 17, 2026. This allotment is determined by the scores obtained by candidates in the AP PGCET exam and the choices they submitted during the counselling process. The counselling for phase 2 commenced on October 8, 2026, requiring candidates to register on the admission portal and pay the counselling fee online.

Candidates who secure a seat in this allotment must report to their designated colleges for document verification. The deadline for this verification and for downloading the admission letter is October 24, 2026. The college-wise allotment letter will detail information such as the college name, course name, duration of the course, and admission fees.

AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling Concludes

Andhra University, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), released the AP PGECET 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment result on October 4, 2026, after 6 PM. This centralized online admission process covers postgraduate engineering, pharmacy, and PharmD courses in Andhra Pradesh, combining multiple qualifying pathways including GATE, GPAT, and AP PGECET 2026 scores.

Selected candidates for AP PGECET Phase 1 were required to complete online self-joining and college reporting between October 5 and October 8, 2026. The counselling registration for AP PGECET closed on September 27, 2026, with online certificate verification continuing through September 28, 2026. Web-option entries were open until September 29, 2026, and were frozen at 10 PM on September 30, 2026.

Eligibility criteria for AP PGECET require general category candidates to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree, while reserved category candidates need at least 45%. GATE and GPAT qualified candidates receive first preference during seat allotment, followed by AP PGECET rank holders.

Tg PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling Completed

The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) concluded its Phase 1 counselling for TG PGECET 2026. The seat allotment result for Phase 1 counselling was released on July 26, 2026. This counselling process supports admission into M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D (P.B.) programmes for the academic year 2026–27 in Telangana.

Payment of tuition fees and online self-reporting for TG PGECET Phase 1 took place from July 27 to July 30, 2026. Candidates were also required to report to their allotted colleges with original certificates during the same period. The admissions counselling notification for TG PGECET 2026 was issued on June 25, 2026, with online registration for M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. courses commencing from July 2, 2026.
