The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has commenced the Round 2 registration and choice filling for WBJEE Counselling 2026 today, July 13, 2026, for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture. Eligible candidates can now register and fill their choices online at wbjeeb.nic.in and wbjeeb.in. WBJEEB 2026 Round 2 registration last date is July 17, 2026. Students must submit a counselling fee of Rs. 500 while registering for WBJEE 2026 Round 2 counselling. The second round of seat allotment will be conducted on July 21, 2026.

The WBJEE 2026 examination was conducted on May 24, 2026, following the online registration period from March 10, 2026, to April 8, 2026. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has already officially released the WBJEE 2026 result, with Shaswat Banerjee securing Rank 1.

The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result for WBJEE 2026 was announced on July 7, 2026, with seat acceptance, document verification, and admission processes concluding on July 11, 2026. The current Round 2 registration and choice filling window will close on July 17, 2026.

Candidates eligible for WBJEE 2026 Round 2 counselling, including those who did not participate in Round 1 or did not secure a seat, can complete their registration and choice filling online. The counselling fee is ₹500, which is non-refundable. Follow these steps to register:

  1. Go to the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee or wbjeeb.in.
  2. Click on the link for WBJEE 2026 Counselling Round 2 registration.
  3. Log in using your WBJEE 2026 roll number and password.
  4. Complete the registration form with the required details and pay the non-refundable counselling fee of ₹500.
  5. Proceed to fill in your preferred choices of colleges and courses.
  6. Review your choices carefully and lock them before the deadline of July 17, 2026.

WBJEE 2026 Counselling: Process and Rules

Candidates must follow the WBJEEB counselling rules for registration, choice filling, seat acceptance, and upgradation during Round 2.

  • Round 2 registration and fresh choice filling will be held from July 13 to July 17, 2026.
  • Candidates allotted their first-choice college and branch in Round 1 are not eligible for upgradation.
  • Such candidates can only accept or reject their Round 1 allotted seat.
  • Candidates who selected the upgradation option in Round 1 cannot register or fill fresh choices in Round 2.
  • Previously submitted choices of upgradation candidates will be considered for Round 2 seat allotment.
  • Candidates dissatisfied with their Round 1 allotment or without any allotted seat can participate in subsequent counselling rounds.
  • The seat acceptance fee for any allotted seat is ₹5,000.
