UPSSSC Livestock Officer: Register by September 29, 2026

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is set so the online registration process for the Livestock Extension Officer Main Examination (Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025)/17 recruitment tomorrow, September 29, 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,251 Livestock Extension Officer posts across Uttar Pradesh.

The online application window for eligible candidates commenced on September 9, 2026. Aspiring candidates who have not yet completed their applications are advised to do so before the deadline.

Eligibility and Application Process

To be eligible for the Livestock Extension Officer Main Examination, candidates must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and possess a valid PET-2025 scorecard. The application process requires candidates to authenticate and log in using their PET registration number.

While there is no application fee for candidates belonging to unreserved, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, all applicants are required to pay a prescribed online processing fee of Rs 25. Candidates should ensure all details are accurately entered before submission, as a correction window will be available.

Examination Structure and Syllabus

The written examination for the Livestock Extension Officer posts will consist of 100 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks. The paper will have a duration of two hours (120 minutes). A negative marking scheme will be implemented, with one-fourth of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

The syllabus for the examination is complete, covering subjects related to animal husbandry, computer and information technology, and general knowledge specific to Uttar Pradesh. Key topics within animal husbandry include animal anatomy and physiology, animal nutrition, animal breeding and artificial insemination, dairy management, poultry farming, animal health and disease management, and livestock extension education and practical work.
