HPSC Food Safety Officer recruitment 2026: apply for 45 posts by 19 October

Educational qualifications mandate a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in specified fields such as Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine. Also, candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matriculation or Hindi in Higher Education.

A total of 45 vacancies are available for the Food Safety Officer (Group-B) post. The distribution of these vacancies across various categories, including horizontal reservations for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), has been outlined by the HPSC. Post-appointment, mandatory training specified by the Food Authority must be completed by the selected candidates.
