URATPG merit list 2026 released today: pay fees by September 26

The University of Rajasthan (UNIRAJ) today, September 23, 2026, released the URATPG merit list 2026 for admission to its Postgraduate (PG) courses. Applicants who successfully registered and qualified in the URATPG exam have been shortlisted in this merit list, which is available for download on the university’s official website.

Candidates can access and download the URATPG merit list 2026 by visiting the official University of Rajasthan websites, admissions.univraj.org or uniraj.ac.in. The merit list is published in PDF format and includes essential details such as the candidate’s name, parent’s name, date of birth, application number, subject name, and marks obtained. The university will also attach admission instructions with the merit list to guide selected students through the subsequent steps.

To download the merit list, candidates must navigate to the ‘Admission’ or ‘Merit List’ section on the official website, select their respective course and category, and then log in using their application credentials. This process allows them to view and download their provisional selection status.

Admission Process and Document Verification

Students provisionally selected in the URATPG 2026 merit list must accept their allotted seat and submit the required documents for verification to confirm their admission. Failure to complete the admission process, including fee payment, before the specified deadline will result in the forfeiture of their admission. Qualified candidates are also required to report to their allotted colleges before the deadline.

The documents necessary for verification include Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, Graduation marksheet, Transfer certificate, Conduct certificate, Photo ID proof, and Category certificate (if applicable). Candidates who are unable to produce a valid category certificate will be considered under the general student category, as per the University of Rajasthan’s guidelines.

The URATPG merit list for PG courses is prepared based on a combined score, giving 70% weightage to the URATPG entrance exam score and 30% weightage to the candidate’s graduation marks. This methodology ensures a detailed evaluation of applicants for postgraduate admissions.

The University of Rajasthan adheres to the Government of Rajasthan’s reservation policy. Separate merit lists are published for various categories, including General/Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories, to ensure equitable representation.
