Bharadhwaj Torati, a 17-year-old student from Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh, has secured admission to the Computer Science and Engineering programme at IIT Bombay after achieving All India Rank 85 in JEE Advanced 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main examination, which serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, jointly organised by the IITs. In an interview published on March 11, 2026, Torati shared his preparation journey, emphasising consistent effort over last-minute cramming as the key to cracking the highly competitive engineering entrance exams.

Background and Academic Performance

Hailing from a modest agricultural family—his father Siva Ramam works in agriculture, and his mother Pushpavathi is a homemaker—Torati demonstrated strong academic foundations early on. He scored 93 per cent in Class 10 and an impressive 98.9 per cent in Class 12.
