The application process for the upcoming cycle is tentatively set to commence on February 15, 2027.

The UPJEE-P, commonly known as JEECUP, is conducted once a year by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh. This examination serves as the gateway for students seeking admission to various diploma courses affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, UP. The JEECUP 2027 session represents the next opportunity for students to secure seats in these programmes.

JEECUP 2027 Application and Examination Schedule

The application window for JEECUP 2027 is tentatively scheduled to open on February 15, 2027, with the last date to apply set for May 5, 2027. The examination itself is tentatively slated to take place from June 6 to June 10, 2027. Following the examination, the results are tentatively expected to be announced on June 17, 2027.

The application form for JEECUP 2027 will be filled exclusively in online mode. Candidates will be able to access the application portal on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The application fee for General/OBC candidates is Rs. 300, while SC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 200, as per the tentative fee structure for JEECUP 2027.

Eligibility Criteria for JEECUP 2027

For JEECUP 2027, candidates must be Uttar Pradesh Domicile holders. There is no upper age limit for the examination, but candidates must be at least 14 years old as of July 1 of the examination year. This minimum age requirement was also 14 years for JEECUP 2026.

Specific eligibility criteria vary depending on the diploma programme group. For instance, Group A (Diploma in Engineering) requires candidates to have passed the 10th exam with 35% marks, and 50% marks in PCM. Group E (Diploma in Pharmacy) requires a 12th exam pass in the Science Stream with 50% marks. The duration of courses ranges from one to three years, depending on the programme.

Examination Pattern and Past Trends

The UPJEE 2023 exam, for reference, had a duration of two hours and 30 minutes and consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates receive four marks for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers in UPJEE. This pattern provides insight into the potential structure for the upcoming JEECUP 2027 examination.

The JEECUP counselling process aims to grant admissions to government and private polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh. In 2023, the 2nd round counselling seat allotment results were announced on jeecup.admissions.nic.in, with candidates having until August 30, 5 PM, to make their freezing or floating choice. The choice filling and upgradation facility for JEECUP 2023 round 3 counselling commenced on August 30, 2023. After four rounds of main counselling for JEECUP 2023, 13,643 seats remained vacant.
