Examination Pattern and Reservation Policy

The JEECUP 2027 examination will be conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The question paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 4 marks, leading to a total of 400 marks. The examination will be available in both English and Hindi languages. Notably, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Regarding seat allocation, 85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates who are residents of Uttar Pradesh, while the remaining 15% are allocated for management quota. Specific reservations for various categories, based on the 2026 information brochure, include 21% for Scheduled Castes (SC), 2% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
