Eligibility Criteria and Application Fees
To be eligible for JEECUP 2027, candidates must be Indian citizens and at least 14 years old as of July 1, 2027. There is no upper age limit for the examination. While candidates are generally expected to fulfill Uttar Pradesh domicile requirements, applicants from other states are also eligible to apply. Those appearing for their Class 10 examination in 2026 are eligible to apply for JEECUP 2027, provided they meet the required qualifications at the time of admission.
The application fee for JEECUP 2027 is Rs. 300 for General and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the fee is Rs. 200. There is no specified limit on the number of attempts for the JEECUP examination.

Exam Pattern and Admission Process
The JEECUP examination is conducted once a year at the state level. The mode of examination is online, and it will be available in both English and Hindi. The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The UPJEE 2023 exam, for reference, consisted of 100 multiple-choice questions, with candidates receiving four marks for each correct answer and no negative marking for incorrect responses.
Admission to various diploma programmes, including Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture Engineering, requires specific academic qualifications. For Engineering & Technology Diploma, candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 35% aggregate marks, along with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry. For Agriculture Engineering, candidates need to have passed Class 10 or Class 12 (10+2) with Agriculture as a subject, securing 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Agriculture. The counselling process for seat allocation is also conducted online.
