The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the results and NTA scores for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 on September 18, 2026. The results are available online on the official AIAPGET website, providing scores for admission to Postgraduate Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy (ASU & H) Courses for the Academic Session 2026–27.
A total of 51,482 candidates registered for AIAPGET 2026, with 49,864 ultimately appearing for the examination. The computer-based test (CBT) was conducted on August 22, 2026, across 205 centres in 104 cities, with a re-examination for 49 affected candidates held on September 1, 2026.
AIAPGET 2026 Examination Details and Answer Key Release
The AIAPGET 2026 examination, conducted by the NTA on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), and National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) with the approval of the Ministry of Education, serves as the sole entrance examination for postgraduate ASU & H courses. No other AYUSH colleges, institutions, universities, or deemed universities will conduct separate entrance exams for MD/MS courses for the 2026-27 academic session.
The provisional answer key for AIAPGET 2026 was released on September 3, 2026, with a challenge window open from September 3 to September 5, 2026. Following the review of challenges, the final answer key was released on September 18, 2026, coinciding with the result declaration. The maximum possible marks in the examination were 480.
Category-Wise Cut-Offs and Top Scores
The category-wise cut-off percentile for AIAPGET 2026 is 50th percentile for Unreserved (UR)/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates and 40th percentile for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. For Persons with Disabilities (PwD), the prescribed cut-off is 45th percentile for UR/EWS-PwD and 40th percentile for applicable reserved PwD categories.
The highest scores recorded across the disciplines were 390 in Ayurveda, 417 in Homoeopathy, 319 in Siddha, and 359 in Unani. The AIAPGET 2026 scorecard, available online only, includes the candidate’s name, roll number, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and course details. Hard copies of the result will not be sent by post.

Counselling Process for AIAPGET 2026 Admissions
The NTA does not conduct counselling for AIAPGET admissions. Instead, the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) is responsible for conducting counselling for All India quota seats. For State/Union Territory quota seats, designated State/UT Counselling Authorities will manage the counselling process.
Qualified candidates are advised to regularly check the relevant official counselling authority websites for registration dates, seat allotment schedules, required documents, and other admission-related updates. The validity of the AIAPGET result is one year from the passing of the examination. Candidates should prepare all necessary documents, including their AIAPGET 2026 scorecard, admit card, valid photo ID, qualifying degree documents, and any applicable category or claim certificates, for the upcoming counselling sessions.
