NTA Suspends Eduquity Empanelment After AIAPGET 2026 Power Failure in Jaipur: Check Updates, Re-Exam Dates & More

The National Testing Agency (NTA) suspended the empanelment of M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and issued a show-cause notice on August 22, 2026, following a significant power failure that disrupted the AIAPGET 2026 examination at the Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur. This disruption prevented 49 candidates from completing their All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) examination.

In response to the lapses, the NTA has scheduled a re-examination for the affected candidates on September 1, 2026, at the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur. This swift action aims to mitigate the impact on students who faced undue stress and anxiety due to the technical failure during a crucial postgraduate entrance test.

AIAPGET 2026 Exam Disruption

The AIAPGET 2026 examination, conducted on August 22, 2026, saw 35,837 candidates appear out of 36,979 registered for Shift-I. While the examination was successfully completed for 35,788 candidates nationwide, a critical power failure at the Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur severely impacted 49 candidates. The centre, which had 192 candidates appearing for the exam, experienced a power outage around 10:20 AM, approximately 15 minutes after the exam commenced.

Affected candidates reported that their systems froze shortly after the exam began and did not restart for nearly an hour and a half. The NTA attributed this issue directly to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd., citing lapses in the conduct of the examination.

AIAPGET 2026 Re-Examination for Affected Candidates

To ensure fairness and provide a second opportunity, the NTA has promptly arranged a re-examination for the 49 candidates who could not complete their AIAPGET 2026 paper due to the power failure. The re-examination is scheduled to take place on September 1, 2026, at 10 am.Β The new venue for this re-examination will be the Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women in Jaipur.
