NEET PG 2026: Retest for 2,445 Candidates After Jaipur Power Outage; Probe Ordered

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has ordered a retest for 2,445 candidates affected by power disruptions during the NEET-PG 2026 examination on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at two centres in Jaipur. The re-examination is scheduled for September 5, 2026, at 3 pm in Jaipur, following an internal power failure attributed to its technological partner, TCS Ltd.

NBEMS has also constituted a three-member committee to investigate the power failure at the iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura (TC Nos. 41682 and 41683) centres. This incident affected a good chunk of candidates who were part of the over 2.6 lakh individuals taking the nationwide examination across 1,111 centres.

The retest for the 2,445 affected NEET-PG 2026 candidates will take place on September 5, 2026, at 3 pm in Jaipur.
