AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 open round result out: accept seats by 28 September

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, through its AIIMS Exams Portal, released the Open Round (Round 3) seat allocation result for BSc Nursing 2026 today, September 19, 2026. This result pertains to admissions for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course for the academic session 2026–2027.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in this Open Round are required to complete their online seat acceptance and physical reporting, including document submission, between September 24 and September 28, 2026. The seat allocation process is managed centrally by the Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi, for various participating AIIMS institutes nationwide.

Key Dates for Open Round Counselling

The Open Round (Round 3) seat allocation result for AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 was declared on September 19, 2026, as per the official schedule. Following this, candidates must complete the online seat acceptance process from September 24 to September 28, 2026. Concurrently, physical reporting and document submission at the allotted AIIMS institute are also scheduled for the same period, from September 24 to September 28, 2026.

The counselling process for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course, a 4-Year Degree program, commenced with the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 Result/Merit List released on July 4, 2026. The entrance examination for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing 2026 was held earlier on June 27, 2026. The counselling included a Mock Round, Round 1, Round 2, and the current Open Round.

Counselling Process and Previous Rounds

The AIIMS BSc Nursing Counselling 2026 has progressed through several stages. The first round’s seat allotment result was released on August 10, 2026, with online seat acceptance and physical reporting active from August 11 to August 17, 2026. Round 1 Choice Filling was conducted from July 31, 2026, to August 6, 2026.

Subsequently, the Round 2 seat allotment result was declared on August 22, 2026. For Round 2, online seat acceptance and physical college reporting were active from August 24 (11:00 AM) through August 29, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM). The current Open Round is the final stage of the counselling process for the academic session 2026–2027. Candidates who failed to choose an option or report for an allotted seat in previous rounds forfeited it and became ineligible for subsequent rounds.

Document Verification and Eligibility Criteria

For candidates allotted a seat in the Open Round, physical verification of documents is a mandatory step for final admission. Candidates must carry original certificates along with two sets of self-attested photocopies to the allotted AIIMS institute. The required documents include the AIIMS Nursing Allotment Letter 2026, Admit Card, Registration Slip, Class 10 and 12 certificates/mark sheets, and a Category Certificate, if applicable.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course require a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English for UR/OBC/EWS candidates in Class 12. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these subjects is required. The AIIMS B.Sc Nursing Result 2026 is provisional, and final admission is contingent upon successful physical verification of documents and meeting all specified eligibility criteria. The result notification number is 209/2026.
