NTRUHS may issue a stray vacancy notice after October 21, 2026, if any MBBS seats remain unfilled. However, specific eligibility criteria apply for this potential round. Candidates who joined MBBS through Phase-I or Phase-II counselling under either Competent Authority Quota or Management Quota of Dr. NTRUHS are not eligible for the MBBS Stray Round counselling.
Similarly, candidates allotted MBBS seats through Phase-III (Mop-Up) counselling under either CQ or MQ of Dr. NTRUHS are also ineligible for the MBBS Stray Round counselling. In addition, candidates whose names appear in the list shared by the Medical Counselling Committee up to the Stray Round are not eligible for the MBBS Stray Round counselling. The university has cautioned against blocking seats under Management or NRI quota if candidates have joined medical colleges in other states, threatening legal action and reporting to the National Medical Commission.
