NEET UG 2026 Manipur Round 3 counselling choice filling deadline today, October 11

The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Manipur, is concluding the registration and choice filling for the third and final round of NEET-UG 2026 counselling today, October 11, 2026. This round is for qualified candidates seeking admission to medical and dental undergraduate programmes for the 2026–27 academic session in Manipur and Northeast India.

Candidates who did not participate in previous rounds, as well as those wishing to submit fresh choices, must register and lock their preferences by the end of today. This round offers seats across five major medical institutions, including RIMS Imphal and JNIMS Imphal.

Manipur NEET UG Round 3 Counselling Timeline

Following the conclusion of the choice filling period, the Directorate of Medical Education will announce the merit lists on the morning of October 14, 2026. The seat allotment results for Round 3 will be published on the evening of the same day. Successful candidates are then required to physically report to their allotted colleges on October 14 or 15, 2026.

Failure to report within these specified dates will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat. The allotment made in Round 3 is considered final, with no options for upgrades or changes after the evening of October 14, 2026. There is no Float or Freeze option available in this round.

Registration and Application Process

Candidates can register and fill their choices through the official portal, manipurmc.mn.gov.in. Those who registered in Round 1 or Round 2 are not required to register again but must submit fresh choices. It is mandatory for candidates to lock their choices, as failure to do so will lead to exclusion from the Round 3 merit list preparation.

The application fee for State Government Quota seats is ₹2,000, with a reduced fee of ₹1,500 for SC/ST candidates. For private Management Quota only, the fee is ₹2,000. Candidates applying for both Government and Private Quotas must pay ₹4,000, or ₹3,500 for SC/ST candidates. All candidates are also required to submit a refundable security deposit of ₹15,000, which will be returned after the completion of all counselling rounds. Registration fees are non-refundable regardless of the outcome, and choice filling becomes active only after successful payment of the registration fee. Candidates need their NEET UG 2026 roll number, basic personal information, and category documents for registration.

Available Seats and Quotas

Round 3 offers seats for MBBS, BDS, and BASLP courses across five institutions: RIMS Imphal, JNIMS Imphal, SAHS Langol, CMC Imphal, and RDC Guwahati. State Government Quota seats are available for all three courses at all five institutions. In addition, Management Quota MBBS seats and NRI Quota MBBS seats are offered specifically at SAHS Langol.

The NEET UG 2026 Notification was released on August 13, 2026. Round 1 allotment notification was on August 28, 2026, while Round 2 registration and fresh choice filling occurred from September 8–11, 2026. The Round 2 merit list was announced on September 14, 2026, with seat allotment results on September 16, 2026, and physical reporting from September 16–18, 2026.
