ATMA July 2026 Exam Tomorrow (12 July): Check Timings, Exam Guidelines and More

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is all set to conduct the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) July 2026 on 12th July 2026 (Sunday). The test is scheduled from 2-5 PM. ATMA 2026 will be administered completely via Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across roughly 30 cities in India. ATMA 2026 results will be declared on 18 July 2026. 

The scores from this session will be widely accepted for admissions to MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs for the upcoming academic year. Candidates must carry the following set of documents to clear verification at the exam venue gates:

  • ATMA July 2026 Admit Card: A clear, printed color copy downloaded from atmaaims.com.
  • Government-Issued Photo ID: Original and valid identification proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport).
  • Passport Size Photograph: Recent photograph matching the one uploaded in the ATMA application form.
  • Application Form Copy: A printout of the completed registration form (reprint facility available until July 11).

ATMA July 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

AIMS has outlined specific instructions to ensure fair and organized conduct across all test venues:

  • Verify your allotted exam centre and venue before leaving for the test.
  • Reach the exam centre well before the reporting time.
  • Complete the mandatory biometric verification before entering the exam hall.
  • Carry your admit card and a valid photo ID for verification.
  • Locate your assigned computer terminal using your roll number.
  • Follow the instructions given by the invigilators throughout the exam.
  • Follow the section-wise time limits, as sections cannot be revisited or switched.

Items Allowed and Prohibited at the ATMA 2026 Exam Centre

To maintain security, strict screening checks will be performed at the entrance.

Allowed Items:

  • Admit card, ID proofs, and photos
  • A transparent blue or black ballpoint pen for rough sheets
  • A transparent water bottle

Prohibited Items:

  • Electronic gadgets: Smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators, fitness bands, or bluetooth devices
  • Study material: Books, notebooks, loose paper sheets, log tables, or geometry boxes
  • Personal items: Bags, wallets, large metallic ornaments, and electronic key fobs

ATMA July 2026 Exam Pattern

The test evaluates a candidate’s baseline aptitude through 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The sections are structured with equal weightage across three primary domains:

ATMA July 2026 Marking Scheme

A selective accuracy strategy is critical due to the presence of negative marks.

  • Correct Answer: +1 mark
  • Incorrect Answer: -0.25 marks
  • Unattempted Question: 0 marks

Tip: Avoid pure guesswork, as every four incorrect answers will cancel out the marks earned from a correct answer

ATMA scores are recognized by over 200 to 300 management colleges and B-schools approved by AICTE and the Ministry of Education across India. Notable participating institutions accepting ATMA scores for shortlisting include:

ATMA July 2026 Result Date and What’s Next

AIMS is scheduled to officially release the ATMA July 2026 results on July 18, 2026. Candidates can check their sectional and overall percentiles on atmaaims.com using their unique Personal Identification Number (PID) and login password.

Once results are live, participating B-schools will release their respective cutoff percentiles. Shortlisted candidates must then apply individually to their preferred colleges to participate in subsequent selection rounds, which typically consist of a Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT).
