Bihar PGDAC 2026 round 2 seat allotment out: download order by 30 September

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the provisional seat allotment results for the Post Graduate Dental Admission Counselling (PGDAC) 2026 Round 2 on September 28, 2026. Candidates who participated in the second round of counselling for admission to MDS courses in Bihar’s dental colleges can access their results on the official BCECEB website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The current phase requires candidates to download their provisional seat allotment orders by September 30, 2026. After that, document verification and admission procedures for the allotted seats are scheduled to be completed between September 29 and September 30, 2026.

PGDAC 2026 Round 2 Schedule and Key Dates

The counselling schedule for PGDAC-2026 Round 2 was revised as per Advt. No. BCECEB(PGDAC)-2026/03 dated September 14, 2026. This extension was made in the interest of students, following the Medical Counselling Committee’s (MCC) decision to extend the NEET MDS Round 2 counselling schedule. The online application and choice-filling window for PGDAC 2026 Round 1 and 2 was open from August 20, 2026, to August 24, 2026.

The deadline for Round 1 free exit or resignation was September 24, 2026. Online choice filling and editing for Round 2 took place on September 25, 2026, with the locking deadline set for 11:59 PM on the same day. The provisional seat allotment result was published on September 28, 2026.

Eligibility and Participating Institutions

The PGDAC-2026 counselling process supports admissions to MDS courses offered by government and private dental colleges in Bihar. To be eligible, candidates must have qualified in NEET-MDS 2026 and appear on the official merit list. The MDS seats are distributed across three institutions: Patna Dental College (government), Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital (private), and Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital (private).

The BCECEB also released the opening and closing ranks for postgraduate dental admissions in Round 2. For instance, in Buddha Institute of Dental Science & Hospital, the NEET opening rank for Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics (UR, OPEN) was 11,631, closing at 11,981. For Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (UR, OPEN) at Mithila Minority Dental College & Hospital, the NEET ranks ranged from 12,246 to 16,936.

Required Documents for Verification and Admission

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 must report for document verification and admission by September 30, 2026. The official allotment PDF, dated September 28, 2026, contains candidate-level information. The BCECEB website also provides the Check Slip and Biometric Form for PGDAC-2026, which are necessary for the admission process.

Essential documents required for verification include the BDS degree certificate, NEET MDS 2026 scorecard, the Round 2 provisional allotment order, an internship completion certificate, and the Dental Council registration certificate.
