Eligibility Criteria & Salary Structure

Because this recruitment spans various fields, the educational requirements, age limits, and 7th CPC pay levels differ depending on the specific post you are targeting.

1. Research Officer (Group A)

  • Qualification: MD/MS in Unani Medicine or Master’s Degree/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with registration.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.

  • Pay Scale: Level 10  (₹56,100 – ₹177,500)

2. Staff Nurse & Technical Assistants (Group B)

  • Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing/GNM for nurses; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the specific science domain for MLT and Research Assistants.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 to 35 years (varies by post).

  • Pay Scale: Level 6 to Level 7 (₹35,400 – ₹42,400)

3. Clerical & Support Staff (Group C)

  • Qualification: Graduate for UDC; 12th Pass with a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi for LDC; 10th Pass/ITI for MTS and Driver positions.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 25 years or 18 to 27 years, depending on the designation. Age relaxations apply per government guidelines (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC).

  • Pay Scale: Level 1 to Level 5 (₹18,000 – ₹92,300)

Application Fee and Payment Details

The application fee includes the essential examination processing charges and must be paid entirely through the online portal. Candidates should note that the fee amount varies based on the group classification of the post they are applying for.

To support equal opportunity, candidates from reserved categories, economically weaker sections, and female applicants receive a major fee exemption.

Selection Process

The council will use a multi-stage process to select eligible professionals:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): A mandatory online test consisting of 100 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer (except for the MTS post).

  2. Skill Test / Typing Test: Compulsory for operational roles like LDC, Stenographer, and Staff Car Driver.

  3. Interview: Held only for high-level Group A positions.

  4. Document Verification & Medical Exam: The final checks before official deployment.

The examination centers will be allocated across major hubs including New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.
