DAVV UG 1st Year Supplementary: Apply after Nov 10; Exams last week Nov 2026

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is set to conduct supplementary examinations for first-year undergraduate students enrolled under the National Education Policy (NEP) in the last week of November 2026. These exams are intended for students who failed in one or two subjects during the annual examinations held in August 2026.

The university plans to invite applications for these supplementary exams from students after November 10, 2026, with the detailed schedule expected to be announced by November 15, 2026. This initiative provides an additional opportunity for a significant number of students to clear their subjects.

Supplementary Exam Schedule and Application Process

The DAVV administration has decided to conduct the supplementary examinations in the last week of November 2026. Students eligible for these exams, specifically those who failed in one or two subjects in the annual exams, will be able to apply after November 10, 2026. The official schedule detailing the examination dates and timings will be released by November 15, 2026.

According to Dr. Vishnu Mishra, Deputy Registrar of the DAVV examination Department, all review results for the annual exams will be declared within 15 days. Following this, supplementary examinations will be conducted for the failed students. The university has also published online exam form submission notifications for various supplementary exams for I, II, III, and IV Year (NEP) students for the 2026 session on its official portal, dauniv.ac.in.

Examination Logistics and Oversight

Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) will establish 40 examination centers in Indore for the upcoming supplementary exams, with pretty much all these centers located in government colleges. This arrangement aims to ensure broad accessibility for students appearing for the exams. To uphold the integrity of the examination process, a flying squad will be deployed to monitor the supplementary exams, as confirmed by university authorities. Dr. Rakesh Singhai serves as the Vice-Chancellor of DAVV, overseeing these arrangements.

The supplementary examinations are scheduled for the last week of November 2026. Students eligible for these exams, specifically first-year undergraduate students under the National Education Policy (NEP) who failed in one or two subjects during the August 2026 annual exams, will be invited to apply after November 10, 2026. Background and Student Performance in Annual Exams

The annual examinations for BA, BCom, BSc, BJMC, BSW, BBA, and BCA courses under the NEP concluded in August 2026. Approximately 90,000 students appeared in these examinations, and the university released their results within 45 days. The re-evaluation process for answer sheets from these annual exams has reached its final stage, with all review results expected within 15 days.

Analysis of the annual exam results revealed varying pass percentages across different streams. In BBA-BCA courses, 70-80% of students passed, while in B.Com and B.Sc., 50-60% passed. A notable 20-22% of students in B.Com and B.Sc. courses failed in one or two subjects and later applied for review, indicating the need for these supplementary opportunities.
