BAMS Admission Process and Key Dates

The BAMS merit list has been prepared based on NEET 2026 scores. DBUU offers a 5.5-year BAMS programme through its Dev Bhoomi Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital. The Round 1 counselling allotment results are scheduled to be declared on October 8, 2026, at 11:30 PM.

Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must complete their reporting at the Dehradun campus within the specified window. A refundable security deposit of Rs 25,000 is required to generate the allotment letter, and the annual BAMS tuition fee at DBUU is Rs 1,50,000.

Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents

To be eligible for a BAMS seat, candidates must have qualified NEET 2026. Specific minimum NEET marks are mandated for different categories. For the UR/EWS category, a minimum of 213 marks and above (50th percentile) is required. UR/EWS-PwBD candidates need 194 marks and above (45th percentile), while OBC/SC/ST candidates must have 177 marks and above (40th percentile).

When reporting to the college, candidates must present several documents. These include the NEET 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, a category certificate (if applicable), a domicile certificate for Uttarakhand residents, a character certificate, and a migration certificate. Other required documents include a valid photo identity proof, transfer certificate, medical fitness certificate, and the counselling allotment letter.

Uttarakhand BAMS Counselling Schedule and Fees

The BAMS counselling process in Uttarakhand is conducted through Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU) Centralized Counselling. The one-time online counselling registration fee for UAU Round 1 and Round 2 is ₹2,000 for all categories. Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31 of the admission year, with no upper age limit for admission to ASU&H undergraduate courses.

The UAU issued an official circular (No. 1860/UAU/Counselling/2026-27) on September 24, 2026, directing affiliated colleges to verify certificates. Round 2 registration, fee payment, and choice filling are scheduled from October 18 to 21, 2026. The Round 2 merit list will be displayed on October 23, 2026, at 11:30 PM, with results declared on October 27, 2026, at 11:30 PM. Joining for Round 2 allotted candidates will be from October 28 to November 2, 2026. Round 2 upgradation is open only to those who complete Round 1 joining.
