FLAME University UG admissions 2027-28: Early Decision cycle open, apply by 29 November

FLAME University, Pune, has opened the Early Decision Online Cycle for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the 2027-28 academic year. Interested candidates are required to complete their online applications by November 29, 2026. This cycle is designed to identify well-rounded applicants who can contribute to the learning environment at the university.

The admission process is conducted entirely online, with subsequent cycles scheduled through May 2027. FLAME University, known for its liberal education approach, offers undergraduate programmes across liberal education, business, communications, and design on its 70-acre green campus in Pune.

Application Process and Key DATES

The application process for FLAME University’s undergraduate programmes is fully online. Applicants can register on the university’s online portal at apply.flame.edu.in. Upon registration, login credentials will be sent via automated email. A non-refundable application fee of ₹2,000 is required, payable online through various methods including debit/credit card, net banking, wallet, UPI, Demand Draft, or scratch-card voucher.

The Early Decision Online Cycle has a specific timeline for applications, entrance tests, interviews, and result announcements. Subsequent online cycles are also scheduled, extending through May 2027, with varying deadlines and assessment dates.

Entrance Examinations and Assessment Criteria

FLAME University accepts scores from various entrance examinations for its undergraduate admissions, including the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT), SAT, ACT, and JEE (Main) Paper 1. Candidates who submit valid SAT, ACT, or JEE (Main) Paper 1 scores have the option to bypass the FEAT. For UG B.Des programs, the FDAT is used instead of FEAT, following the same admission schedule.

The FEAT is a 120-minute online, multiple-choice examination comprising four sections: Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability, and General Knowledge. The admission process evaluates applicants holistically, considering entrance test scores, an on-the-spot essay, a personal interview, and application credentials. Shortlisted applicants are required to write an essay during the online assessment and may be invited for an online personal interview. The interview assesses motivation, passions, interests, role models, learnings, experiences, future aspirations, personality, communication skills, and clarity of thought.

Eligibility and Offer Confirmation

For eligibility, applicants must have passed their 12th standard final examination from Higher Secondary School Certificate or State Boards, CBSE, and CISCE. Results for each admission cycle are announced on the application portal according to the schedule. Selected students receive their offer letter via email. To confirm admission, students must log in to the portal, select ‘Accept Admission Offer’, and pay the enrollment deposit.
