MSc Nursing Admissions in Other Regions

While KEA manages admissions in Karnataka, other institutions across India are also conducting their respective MSc Nursing admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. For instance, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam) conducted its MSc Nursing (MSCN26) entrance examination on May 14, 2026. The application fee for CG Vyapam MSc Nursing was Rs. 200/- for General, Rs. 150/- for OBC, and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/Divyang categories. The entrance exam consisted of 100 objective-type questions with no negative marking. Eligibility for CG Vyapam required a B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) and one year of experience.

Similarly, the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong, offered an M.Sc. Nursing course for the 2026-2027 session. Their prospectus and online application forms were available from June 5, 2026, to July 5, 2026, with the entrance examination held offline on August 2, 2026. The application processing fee for NEIGRIHMS was Rs. 1500/-. NEIGRIHMS offers 10 seats annually, with 5 for All India Open, 3 for NEIGRIHMS Alumni, and 2 for NEIGRIHMS Staff. Eligibility included B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC)-recognized institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, along with registration as a Nurse and Midwife with any State Nursing Council. B.Sc. Nursing graduates also required at least one year of experience after obtaining their degree. The NEIGRIHMS entrance exam comprised 100 objective-type questions in English, with no negative marking.
