The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala announced today, October 10, 2026, an extension to the last date for KLEE LLM Counselling 2026 first round option registration. Postgraduate candidates now have until October 22, 2026, at 5 PM, to submit their college preferences on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in.

This is the second time the authority has extended the deadline for the first round of option registration, which initially commenced on October 1, 2026. The extension aims to provide more time for candidates to complete their college choices for admission to two-year LLM programmes.

Revised Schedule and Registration Process

The KLEE LLM Counselling 2026 first round option registration was previously scheduled to close on October 8, 2026. With the latest extension, candidates can now finalise their options over an additional two weeks. To complete the online option registration, candidates must use their application number and password on the CEE Kerala portal.

The CEE Kerala, established in 1983, is taking care of conducting examinations and counselling for admission to various professional courses in the state. The KLEE LLM examination supports admissions into 4 government law colleges and 8 self-financing law colleges across Kerala.

Option Registration Fees and Eligibility

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee for option registration, varying by category. General and Other Category candidates must pay Rs 2,000, while SC, ST, OEC, and Specified Welfare Homes candidates are required to pay Rs 500. This fee is essential for the online option registration process.

Eligibility for KLEE LLM 2026 admission mandates candidates to hold a recognized LLB degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and SEBC categories. There is no upper age limit for admission to the programme. The registration fee details are outlined below:
