KLEEE 2027: Apply by Dec 2; exam Dec 3-7 for KL University admission

Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, also known as KL University, has commenced the admission process for the 2027-28 academic session across its campuses in Vijayawada and Hyderabad. The university opened applications for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and lateral-entry programmes on September 16, 2026. The first phase of the KL Engineering Entrance Exam (KLEEE) 2027 is scheduled to begin on December 3, 2026.

The current admission cycle invites prospective students to apply for a range of programmes, including B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, BBA, BCA, and BA. The application window for Phase 1 will close on December 2, 2026, with the entrance examination following immediately after.

KLEEE 2027 Examination Details

The KL Engineering Entrance Exam (KLEEE) 2027 is the primary university-level entrance test for admission to B.Tech programmes. The examination will be conducted online over a duration of three hours, covering subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry for engineering applicants. The Phase 1 exams are slated to run from December 3 to December 7, 2026.

Admit cards for KLEEE 2027 Phase 1 are expected to be released between December 2 and December 6, 2026. Students are advised to download their admit cards promptly upon release and verify all details. The application fee for the current KL University admission cycle is Rs 1,000, which is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria and Alternative Admissions

For B.Tech admission, candidates are generally required to have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The current admission information specifies a minimum of 60% aggregate in the relevant subjects for B.Tech applicants. Students with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combinations may be considered for B.Tech Biotechnology and B.Pharmacy programmes.

For BBA, BCA, and BA programmes, the reported minimum Class 12 requirement is 55% aggregate. Students holding valid scores from national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or eligible state-level engineering entrance examinations like EAPCET may be considered for admission without appearing for KLEEE. Diploma holders seeking lateral-entry engineering admission can apply through KLECET.

Programmes Offered and Career Prospects

KL University offers a diverse portfolio of programmes, including B.Tech specialisations in Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and CSE AI and ML. Other programmes available include B.Pharmacy and BCA.
