The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially declared the TN SSLC (Class 10) Supplementary Exam Result 2026 today, i.e., 5th August 2026.  Students who appeared for the compartmental examinations held between July 8 and July 15, 2026, can now access and download their provisional mark sheets at dge.tn.gov.in.

A total of 66,488 candidates registered for the Class 10 supplementary exams across Tamil Nadu. These exams offered a second opportunity to students who were unable to pass one or more subjects during the regular board examinations held earlier in March-April.

  • Step 1: Visit the official result portal of the Tamil Nadu Education Board at dge.tn.gov.in or tnresults.nic.in.

  • Step 2: On the homepage, locate and click on the “RESULT” section.

  • Step 3: Click on the link titled “SSLC Supplementary Exam, July-2026 Provisional Mark Sheet Download”.

  • Step 4: Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) in the designated login fields.

  • Step 5: Submit the credentials to view your provisional mark sheet.

  • Step 6: Download the PDF file and print out a copy for immediate academic references.

What After TN SSLC Supplementary Result 2026?

1. Class 11 Admissions and Higher Studies

Students who successfully clear the supplementary examination can now apply for Class 11 (Higher Secondary) admissions across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams, or enroll in polytechnic diploma programs for the ongoing academic session.

2. Applying for Scanned Copies of Answer Scripts

Students who are unsatisfied with their awarded marks can apply for a scanned copy (photocopy) of their answer scripts:

  • Application Form: Download the “JULY-2026 SCAN COPY APPLICATION” form directly from the dge.tn.gov.in portal.

  • Submission Dates: Submit the completed form in person on August 10 and August 11, 2026 (between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM).

  • Application Fee: ₹275 per subject, payable in cash at the submission counter.

  • Submission Centers:

    • Apply at the office of the Assistant Director of Government Examinations in your respective district.

    • Candidates in Tenkasi, Ranipet, Tirupattur, Kallakurichi, Chengalpattu, and Mayiladuthurai districts must apply at the office of the District Principal Educational Officer.
