Uttarakhand Open University admission deadline extended: apply by 09 October 2026

Candidates interested in applying to UOU must visit the official web portal to submit their registration forms online. A non-refundable application fee of INR 250 is required at the time of submission. The university offers many programs in fields such as humanities, science, commerce, management, information technology, and education.

Eligibility for undergraduate programs generally requires students to have passed their 10+2 examination. For postgraduate programs, a Bachelor’s degree is a prerequisite. Specific courses like BSc and BCA mandate a science background (PCB/PCM) at the 10+2 level. For the B.Ed program, candidates must have appeared for an entrance exam.

Admission to most programs is based on the merit score of the last qualifying examination. However, for MBA, MCA, B.Ed, and MTTM programs, the university conducts its own entrance test or accepts scores from national-level examinations such as MAT and CAT.
