Uttarakhand TET admit card 2026 out: download UTET hall ticket by September 29

The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE), Ramnagar (Nainital), released the admit card for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET-I & II) 2026 today, September 22, 2026. Candidates appearing for the examination can download their hall tickets from the official website, ukutet.com.

The UTET 2026 is an eligibility test designed to certify candidates for primary (Classes I to V) and upper primary (Classes VI to VIII) teaching positions across Uttarakhand. The examination is scheduled to take place on September 29, 2026.

UTET 2026 Examination Schedule and Timings

The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026 will be conducted on September 29, 2026. The examination is divided into two papers: UTET-I for the primary level and UTET-II for the upper primary level. Each paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes long, consisting of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates must report to their respective exam centers at least 60 minutes before the scheduled start time. They are required to carry a printed copy of their UTET Admit Card 2026 and an original valid photo identity proof. Prohibited items at the exam center include mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, books, notes, and any unauthorized study material.

Application Process and Key Dates

The notification for UTET 2026 was released by the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) on July 14, 2026. The online application window commenced on the same day and closed on August 3, 2026. The deadline for fee payment was August 6, 2026, followed by a modification window for applications from August 8 to August 11, 2026.

Candidates applying for a single paper paid an application fee of ₹600 for UR, EWS, and OBC categories, and ₹300 for SC, ST, and PwBD categories. For those applying for both papers, the fee was ₹1000 for UR, EWS, and OBC, and ₹500 for SC, ST, and PwBD. Payments were accepted via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet.

Eligibility Criteria and Exam Pattern

To be eligible for UTET 2026, candidates must be nationals of India, with an age not exceeding 38 years and not less than 18 years. Each paper in the UTET exam carries a total of 150 marks, with 150 multiple-choice questions. The exam pattern for UTET Paper-I includes Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies, each carrying 30 marks.

For UTET Paper-II, the subjects include Child Development & Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, and a combined section of Mathematics and Science or Social Science, with the latter carrying 60 marks. Candidates are advised to verify all printed details on their admit card upon download.
