Institutions Offering Doctorate Programs in Manipur

Several universities in Manipur are supporting doctorate-level admissions. Manipur University, established on June 5, 1980, and located at Indo Myanmar Road, Canchipur, Imphal, is a Central University. It has previously offered admissions for various postgraduate courses and Bachelor of Vocational (B.Voc.) courses in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Central Agricultural University (CAU) Imphal, a Central University established on January 26, 1993, at Iroisemba, Imphal, is also offering doctorate-level admissions for 2026. CAU Imphal is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and provides admissions in Engineering, Science, and Agriculture at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels.
