The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) officially opened online registration for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) 2026 counselling today, August 24, 2026. Candidates who successfully qualified in the APICET 2026 examination and are seeking admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs across universities and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh can now submit their forms online.

The central admissions portal for processing applications is live at cap.apcfss.in. Eligible candidates must complete their phase-one registration, upload required documents, and pay the mandatory processing fee on or before August 31, 2026.

APICET 2026: Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Before proceeding with registration, applicants must ensure they satisfy the minimum qualifying standards prescribed by APSCHE:

  • Qualifying Score: Candidates must have secured a valid rank in the APICET 2026 examination. Unreserved candidates required a minimum 25% score in the entrance test, whereas no minimum qualifying marks apply to SC/ST categories.

  • Academic Thresholds (General/OC Candidates): Must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-year duration with at least 50% aggregate marks.

  • Academic Thresholds (Reserved Categories – BC/SC/ST): Must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

  • Specific Course Requirements:

    • MBA: Candidates must possess a three-year undergraduate degree in any discipline.

    • MCA: Candidates must hold a recognized degree (such as BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, B.Tech) with Mathematics studied as a mandatory subject at either the 10+2 high school level or the graduation level.

  • Domicile Status: Candidates must meet the local/non-local status rules set by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Regulation Order.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Register Online

Candidates should follow the following procedures carefully to avoid application rejection:

1. Fee Payment & Portal Access

  • Navigate to the official portal: cap.apcfss.in.

  • Select the link labeled “Candidate Registration.”

  • Input your APICET Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth to authenticate.

  • Pay the processing fee (₹1,250 for General/BC; ₹650 for SC/ST/PH) using online banking, debit cards, or UPI.

2. Form Filling & Document Uploading

  • Once payment is confirmed, the online form will open. Enter required details, including personal information, contact address, and academic marks.

  • Scan and upload clear, legible PDF copies of all original certificates.

  • Submit the form and download the acknowledgement receipt containing your Payment Reference ID.

3. Verification Status Verification

  • Designated Help Line Centre (HLC) officers verify uploaded certificates virtually.

  • Log back in periodically to track your verification status.

  • If any uploaded document is rejected or unclear, you will receive an SMS alert to re-upload the valid certificate before September 1, 2026.

  • Note: Candidates seeking benefits under Special Categories (PH, NCC, CAP, Sports & Games) must attend physical document verification at the Government Polytechnic, Vijayawada.

4. Exercising Web Options (Choice Filling)

  • Starting August 27, candidates with verified documents can log in to the Web Options portal.

  • Select preferred colleges, locations, and courses. You can select an unlimited number of choices to maximize allotment chances.

  • Prioritize choices carefully (Choice #1 being your top preference).

  • Save the choices regularly. Modify options if necessary before the locking deadline on September 3, 2026.

5. Allotment and Confirmation

  • Seat allotment decisions will be announced on September 7, 2026.

  • Download your Seat Allotment Order and complete online self-joining.

  • Visit the allocated college in person between September 8 and September 11, 2026, with original certificates and fee receipts to complete final enrollment.
