Practical exams for general courses in 2026 were conducted from February 1 to February 10, 2026, while vocational courses had practical exams from January 27 to February 10, 2026. These practical exams were held in two sessions: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–5:00 PM.
For the 2025 cycle, the AP Inter Time Table for both 1st and 2nd Year was officially released on December 11, 2024. The 1st year exams commenced on March 1, 2025, and concluded on March 19, 2025, while the 2nd year exams began on March 3, 2025, and ended on March 20, 2025. Regular exam timings for AP Inter 2025 were 9 AM to 12 noon. Supplementary examination dates for 2025 were from May 12 to May 20, 2025, with timings from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Practical exams for AP Inter 2025 were scheduled in February 2025, also in two sessions.

Recent Quarterly Examinations and Syllabus Changes
The Directorate of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP), released the schedule for Quarterly Examinations 2026 for Intermediate First and Second Year students. If you come across as at a circular dated September 24, 2026, these examinations were conducted from October 5 to October 9, 2026. First Year Quarterly Examinations 2026 took place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Second Year Quarterly Examinations 2026 were conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Colleges were instructed to complete evaluation and upload quarterly examination marks on or before October 23, 2026.
The APBIE introduced changes for the Inter 1st Year (Class 11) 2026 public exams. These included revised marks distribution and question paper design, with the NCERT syllabus implemented for 1st year in 2026. Mathematics changed to a single 100-mark paper, while Physics, Chemistry, and Biology exams were set for 85 marks. The answer booklet for major subjects increased from 24 pages to 32 pages, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) will have two separate 24-page booklets. Pass marks were revised for 2026: a minimum of 29 marks out of 85 for First Year, 30 marks out of 85 for Second Year, and combined pass marks of 59. Practical exam pass marks increased from 10.5 to 11 marks. There is no choice for 1-mark and 2-mark questions, and the sixth subject is optional for passing; if passed, a separate memo will be issued.
