Changes in Practical Examination Structure
The TGBIE has restructured practical examinations to be conducted externally for both First-year and Second-year Intermediate streams. Each practical exam carries 15 marks, while the main written theory exams continue to carry 60 marks. The newly added First-Year Science Practical Examination has a set duration of 1 Hour 30 Minutes.
Students must maintain a complete, up-to-date, and certified Practical Record Book and bring it to the laboratory venue for their practical examinations. Confirmation of practical examination dates, reporting time, laboratory record requirements, and venue should be made with the respective colleges.
