The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has officially declared the HPCET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result. Candidates who participated in the online counselling process can now check their provisional seat allocation status. The allotment link has been activated on the university’s main portal at himtu.ac.in as well as its dedicated e-counselling platform, ecounselling.hp.gov.in.

The current allotment round covers admissions into key undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses, including Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). How to Check HPCET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

The seat allocation status is available purely in online mode. Candidates can access their dashboards by following the step-by-step process below:

1.Visit the Official Website:Step 1.

Open your web browser and go to the official portal at himtu.ac.in or directly head to the e-counselling link at ecounselling.hp.gov.in.

2.Locate the Result Link:Step 2.

On the homepage or under the latest announcements section, click on the link titled “HPCET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result”.

3.Enter Login Credentials:Step 3.

You will be redirected to a login window. Enter your HIM Access ID, Username, or Application Number along with your Password.

4.View and Download Allotment Letter:Step 4.

After logging in successfully, look for the “Seat Allotment Status” tab on your student dashboard. View your allotment details and click to download your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.

 

Next Steps for Allotted Candidates

Securing a place on the list is only the first phase. To confirm your admission, you must perform the following actions before the July 16 deadline:

  1. Verify Your Details: Carefully check your provisional allotment letter for the name of the allotted institute, the specific course branch, and the category under which you have been selected.

  2. Upload Required Documents: Log into the portal and upload legible, scanned copies of your academic and personal certificates as specified by the university.

  3. Pay the Part Admission Fee: Submit the required seat confirmation fee online using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. Ensure you save the payment receipt and confirmation slip.

Documents to Keep Ready for Verification

When reporting to your allotted college or completing the online verification process, ensure you have multiple copies of these essential documents:

  • HPCET 2026 or JEE Main 2026 Scorecard/Rank Card

  • HPCET 2026 Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Letter

  • Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheets and Passing Certificates

  • Character Certificate and Migration Certificate from the last attended school

  • Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.)

  • Bonafide Himachali/Domicile Certificate (if claiming state quota benefits)

  • Recent passport-size photographs and a valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.)
