  1. Seat Acceptance Selection: Log in to the candidate portal and choose an appropriate seat acceptance status (Auto-Freeze, Self-Freeze, or Float/Slide).

  2. Self-Verification: Verify all claims regarding marks, category, sub-category, and documents submitted during registration.

Candidates must choose one of the following seat acceptance options during the online verification stage:

  • Auto-Freeze: If a candidate is allotted their Preference 1 choice, the seat is automatically frozen. The candidate cannot participate in subsequent CAP rounds and must confirm admission at the allotted institute.

  • Self-Freeze: If a candidate is allotted a seat other than Preference 1 but is satisfied with the seat, they can manually freeze it. They accept the seat, pay the seat acceptance fee, report to the college, and forfeit participation in further CAP rounds.

What After Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 1 Result 2026?

  • For Candidates Who Received Preferred Seats: Candidates who got their top preference or are satisfied with their seat must accept it online, pay the seat acceptance fee, and report to the institute by August 7, 2026.

  • For Candidates Seeking Upgradation: Candidates opting for Float or Slide must pay the seat acceptance fee online to hold their Round 1 seat. They will then participate in CAP Round 2 option form editing starting August 8, 2026.
