RSSB Clerk/Junior Assistant 2026 result out: next stage is typing test

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) announced the results for the RSSB Clerk/Junior Assistant 2026 examination on September 28, 2026. Along with the results, the board also published the cut-off marks and merit list on its official website, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in. This announcement determines the qualifying status of candidates for Clerk Grade-II and Junior Assistant positions across various departments of the Rajasthan Government.

The state-level examination, officially known as the RSSB Lower Division Clerk Recruitment Examination 2026, aims to fill a total of 10,644 vacancies. These include 9,642 positions for Non-TSP (Non-Scheduled Areas) and 1,002 for TSP (Scheduled Areas). Candidates can access their results, which are released in PDF format, by visiting the official portal.

RSSB Clerk/Junior Assistant 2026 Result and Cut-Off Details

The RSSB Clerk/Junior Assistant 2026 written examination was conducted on July 5 and 6, 2026. The results, released online, include the roll numbers of candidates who have been shortlisted for the subsequent stage of the selection process. The result PDFs are segmented for Non-Scheduled Areas and Scheduled Areas, allowing candidates to check their specific category.

Minimum qualifying marks for the written exam were set at 40% for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories, while Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates required a minimum of 35%.

The cut-off marks for Scheduled Areas also vary by category, with General category candidates requiring 137.0084 marks, and SC candidates requiring 123.0917 marks for both male and female sub-categories.

Next Stage: Typing/Skill Test and Document Verification

Candidates who have successfully qualified the written examination are now eligible for the Typing/Skill Test, which is the next phase of the selection process. The Typing/Skill Test is designed to assess proficiency in both Hindi and English typing and efficiency.

The test comprises four parts: Hindi Typing Speed, English Typing Speed, Hindi Typing Efficiency, and English Typing Efficiency. Each part is 10 minutes long and carries 25 marks, contributing to a total of 100 marks for the entire typing test. To qualify, candidates must achieve a minimum of 9 marks out of 25 in each individual section.

Following the Typing/Skill Test, shortlisted candidates will proceed to document verification and a medical examination. Essential documents required for verification include educational certificates, identity proof, category certificates, and the original application form. Key Dates for RSSB LDC Recruitment 2026

The recruitment process for the LDC/Clerk Grade-II & Junior Assistant positions commenced with the notification on January 12, 2026, followed by the online application process starting February 13, 2026. The written examination was held on July 5, 2026, with the provisional answer key released thereafter and the final answer key on July 24, 2026. The result for the written examination was declared on September 28, 2026.
