KNRUHS MDS Management Quota 2026-27 provisional merit list released

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) released the provisional merit list for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) admissions under the Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27 on September 23, 2026. The list, published on the KNRUHS official website, aims to determine the State Merit position for candidates seeking admission to MDS courses through the Management Quota.

This provisional merit list was compiled following the scrutiny of certificates uploaded by applicants. Alongside the merit list, KNRUHS also released a list of candidates deemed ineligible for MDS admissions under the Management Quota for the 2026-27 academic year on the same date.

Application and Registration Process

Online applications for MDS courses under the Management Quota for the 2026-27 academic year were invited from NEET MDS 2026 qualified Indian Nationals, OCI, PIO, and NRI candidates. The online registration process commenced on September 9, 2026, at 6:00 AM, and concluded on September 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

A non-refundable Registration and Verification Fee of INR 10,000, excluding bank transaction charges, was mandatory for all applicants. In addition, candidates holding a BDS degree from another state were required to pay an equivalency fee of INR 5,000, while those with a BDS degree from another country had to pay INR 7,000. There are no category reservations under the Management Quota.

Eligibility Criteria and NEET MDS Cut-Offs

To be eligible for MDS Management Quota seats, candidates were required to hold a BDS degree recognized by the Dental Council of India. Furthermore, applicants needed to complete their mandatory internship by May 31, 2026. Obtaining a merit position on the provisional list does not automatically establish eligibility or guarantee admission.

The NEET MDS 2026 cut-off scores, which were a prerequisite for application, varied by category. The General category required a 50th percentile score of 308. For General PwD candidates, the cut-off was 289 (45th percentile), and for SC/ST/OBC, including PwD, it was 271 (40th percentile).

Next Steps for Candidates

The final number of Management Quota seats will be announced on the KNRUHS website before the web options facility is activated. The university has stated that the schedule for exercising web options and the subsequent counselling process will be notified separately. Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official KNRUHS website for these upcoming announcements.
