JEECUP 2026: Pharmacy counselling choice filling begins September 25

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the counselling schedule for JEECUP 2026 Pharmacy admissions. Qualified candidates can begin online registration for Group-E Pharmacy seats on September 25, 2026, through the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

The counselling process is designed to support admissions to various diploma and degree pharmacy institutes across Uttar Pradesh. Students who passed the UP pharmacy entrance test are advised to review the important dates carefully, as missing any specified event could lead to the cancellation of an allotted seat.

Main Counselling Schedule (Rounds 1-3)

The main entry phase of the counselling process will consist of three rounds. Round 1 choice filling will be open from September 25, 2026, to September 27, 2026. The seat allotment result for the first round is scheduled for release on September 28, 2026. Following this, candidates will have from September 29 to October 1, 2026, to complete freeze/float selections and undergo document verification at designated help centres.

Round 2 choice filling is set for October 3 to October 4, 2026, with results announced on October 5, 2026. The third round of choice filling will occur from October 9 to October 11, 2026, and its seat allotment result will be published on October 12, 2026. For Round 3, all allotted seats will be auto-frozen, with no float option, and the security fee deposit and document verification will take place from October 13 to October 15, 2026.

Special Counselling Rounds (4 & 5)

For candidates who are not admitted during the initial three rounds, a special counselling schedule comprising Rounds 4 and 5 has been announced. These rounds are open to all non-admitted candidates who appeared in UPJEE Polytechnic 2026, including those from Uttar Pradesh and other states. Round 4 choice filling will be conducted from October 17 to October 20, 2026, with the seat allotment result on October 21, 2026. This will be followed by online freeze/float selection and security fee deposit from October 22 to October 24, 2026.

Round 5 choice filling is scheduled for October 25 to October 26, 2026, and its seat allotment result will be released on October 27, 2026. Similar to Round 3, all seats in Round 5 will be auto-frozen, and the security fee deposit and document verification will take place from October 28 to October 30, 2026. The participating institutes are expected to complete their reporting for Rounds 1-3 by October 15, 2026, and for Rounds 4-5 by October 30, 2026. Academic classes for the 2026–27 session are scheduled to commence on October 15, 2026.

Application and Document Guidelines

Candidates participating in the counselling process are required to keep their academic certificates ready for verification. The application fee for B Pharmacy admissions is expected to range from ₹750 to ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS categories, and ₹550 to ₹700 for SC/ST/PwD categories. Unpaid applications will be automatically cancelled regardless of completion.

Specific guidelines for document uploading during the application process include requirements for recent passport-size photographs (10 KB to 200 KB, JPG/JPEG format, white background), candidate’s signature (4 KB to 30 KB, JPG/JPEG, black or blue pen on plain white paper), and Class 10 certificates for DOB proof (50 KB to 300 KB, JPG/JPEG). Category and PwD certificates, if applicable, should be in PDF format with a size limit of 50 KB to 300 KB. All scanned copies must be clear, legible, and free of watermarks or stamps.
