KNRUHS MDS 2026-27: Pay fee & download allotment today, Sep 22

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, today released the college-wise allotment list for MDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27. The list, published on September 22, 2026, is based on the first phase of web-based counselling for admission into affiliated government and non-minority dental colleges across Telangana State.

This release follows the display of the final merit list for MDS admissions on the KNRUHS website on September 19, 2026. Eligible candidates, whose certificates were provisionally verified, exercised their web options between 06:00 P.M. on September 19, 2026, and 06:00 P.M. on September 21, 2026, via the online portal https://tsmds.tsche.in/.

Fee Payment and Allotment Order Download

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must pay a non-refundable University fee of Rs. 35,000/- through an online payment gateway. The allotment order can only be downloaded after this payment is successfully processed. The tuition fee, as notified by the Government of Telangana for the block period 2026-29 (G.O.MS.NO.124, HMFW, dated September 04, 2026), is to be paid directly at the respective allotted dental colleges.

Allotted candidates will receive an SMS notification on their registered mobile number. They are required to report to the Principal of the allotted college on or before the last date specified in their allotment order. During this reporting, the admission committee at the college will conduct a final verification of original certificates. Original certificates will be retained by the college and will not be returned to admitted candidates unless they discontinue the course before the second phase of counselling.

Counselling Eligibility and Rules

The KNRUHS notification emphasised specific rules regarding eligibility for subsequent counselling phases. Candidates who did not exercise web options during this first phase of counselling are not eligible for any subsequent phases. Similarly, candidates who were allotted a seat in this phase but fail to join the course at the allotted college will also be ineligible for exercising web options in future rounds of counselling. This measure is intended to prevent seat blocking, if you look at the KNRUHS notification.

The seat matrix for MDS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for AY 2026-27 was made available on the KNRUHS website on September 19, 2026. Candidates were advised to use a computer with an internet connection for exercising web options, as mobile phones or tablets were not recommended. A One Time Password (OTP) was sent to the registered mobile number when candidates saved their web options.

KNRUHS has been actively involved in the admission process for the 2026-27 academic year across various health sciences courses. The university released college-wise allotment lists for MBBS/BDS admissions under the Management Quota for AY 2026-27 on September 15, 2026. On the same date, KNRUHS also released the college-wise allotment list for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota, marking the second phase of counselling for that programme.

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, headquartered in Warangal, Telangana, was established by the Government of Telangana in 2014.
