MCC NEET UG 2026 Registration Round 1 Begins Tomorrow at mcc.nic.in: Check Fees, Choice Filling & Locking Schedule
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to officially open the online registration window for MCC NEET UG 2026 Counselling Round 1 tomorrow, August 5, 2026. Eligible medical aspirants who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) can register for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 100% seats at Deemed/Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and B.Sc. Nursing programs directly through the official portal at mcc.nic.in.
Following the publication of the tentative seat matrix on August 4, candidates can complete their online application and fee payment before the deadline on August 12, 2026.

Registration Fees and Security Deposit Breakdown
To participate in the seat allocation process, candidates must submit a non-refundable registration fee along with a refundable security deposit during the payment step.

Unreserved (UR) / EWS Candidates: Non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 + Refundable Security Deposit of ₹10,000.

Note: The security deposit is refundable to the original bank account after all rounds of counselling conclude, provided the candidate does not forfeit it by violating allotment rules.
Step-by-Step Guide: Registration, Choice Filling & Locking Process
The complete counselling workflow is conducted online in a single, streamlined sequence on the MCC candidate portal.

Online Registration: Visit mcc.nic.in, click on the “UG Medical Counselling” tab, and select the Round 1 registration link. Enter your NEET UG Roll Number, Application Number, Name, and Mother’s Name as per your NTA admit card.

Fee Payment: Select your desired quota (AIQ, Central Universities, Deemed) and pay the applicable non-refundable registration fee and security deposit online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

Choice Filling (Starts Aug 6): Log in to the candidate portal once choice filling opens on August 6. Select your preferred medical/dental colleges and academic programs from the seat matrix list. Arrange choices carefully in order of preference; candidates are advised to fill as many choices as possible to maximize allotment chances.

Choice Locking (Aug 12 – Aug 13): Access the portal between 4:00 PM on August 12 and 11:00 AM on August 13 to lock your choices. If choices are not locked manually before the 11:00 AM deadline on August 13, the system will automatically lock the last saved choices.

Candidates allotted a seat in the Round 1 result on August 17 must carry original physical documents along with self-attested photocopies to their respective colleges between August 18 and August 22:
